Threshold Ramps
Our threshold ramps feature a safer incline and the most usable surface space offered on any ramp of comparable design in the market, making it perfect for people that use wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, and other mobility products. With the combination of an anodized surface and special non-skid technology, our ramps exceed the NFSI requirement for wet Static Coefficient of Friction on a hard flooring surface. What does this mean? For the end-user in the wheelchair, this means a safer feeling going up and down the ramp, and for the person assisting the wheelchair user, this means less strength required to push the occupied chair up and down the ramp.
Extra-wide Threshold Ramps
Our extra-wide threshold ramp provides a full 42 inches of width in front of a doorway. Handrails are optional and provide added security for people who need a little stability transitioning through the door. Perfect for storm doors or screen doors, the width of this extra-wide ramp allows clearance between the handrails. It is also ideal for small curb situations and creates a full-size, gentle path for folks using walkers or wheelchairs – or even for those who are just a little unsteady on their feet. Next Day Access threshold ramps are available in aluminum, rubber and plastic models.
