They need to modify their home in order to continue living there, but accessibility modifications can be very expensive. Often, these houses have been family homes full of memories and sentimental value.

These tax credits, approved by Virginia and at least three US counties, would be given for home modifications such as installing grab bars, wheelchair ramps.
